This building represents WiRED’s dedication to the preservation and evolution of main streets in dynamic neighborhoods. Brady Street is one of Milwaukee’s great retail and entertainment districts, and is one of Milwaukee’s oldest neighborhoods. This gem of a building had fallen into profound disrepair, and lay vacant for years. In partnership with the current owner, WiRED purchased the building and undertook a comprehensive historic rehabilitation of the building – transforming it into one of Brady Street’s iconic buildings.

Downstairs, the team created dynamic retail space featuring incredible storefronts, soaring ceilings, and all new structural and mechanical systems. Upstairs, the team created a unique two-bedroom and den apartment. With entirely new finishes and featuring a luxurious master suite, the home is a residential oasis in the city - walking distance to all the best Milwaukee offers.
